Three players with slowest strike rate in IPL 2023

In the 24th match of the 16th edition of the Indian Premier League (IPL), the Royal Challengers Bangalore locked horns against four-time champions, Chennai Super Kings at the iconic M. Chinnaswammy Stadium, in Bangalore on Monday, April 19. The Super Kings won the match by eight runs and the New Zealand opener for CSK, Devon Conway was awarded the Player of the Match for his brilliant knock in the first innings of the match. He scored 83 runs off 45 balls with six fours and six sixes.
T20 cricket has recently grown increasingly competitive, which has prompted an in-depth analysis of the format. Additionally, finer details have become apparent, increasing player attention. The strike rate in T20s has been one of the main discussion topics. The topic of “how low is too low” with reference to the strike rate has come up after much discussion on the matter. The situation has not changed in the IPL this year, as some of the top players have faced harsh criticism for their strike rates.

3. David Warner (Delhi Capitals):
David Warner, the skipper of the Delhi Capitals (DC), has received the most criticism for his strike rate this year. Even though the Australian is third on the list of IPL 2023’s best run scorers, not many people have been pleased. He now seems out of rhythm and has a below-average strike rate of 116.92.
Simon Doull, a former New Zealand pacer, criticized the southpaw for the same on live television. Warner has acknowledged that his difficulties have coincided with Delhi’s disastrous campaign in the ongoing season. This season, DC has lost all five games they have played in the cash-rich league so far.
