5. Paulo Di Canio stops play as the opponent goalkeeper gets injured:

Paolo Di Canio is remembered for his brilliant gesture which he showed during the fixture between West Ham and Everton in the English Premier League back in 2000. With the scores level at 1-1, the West Ham side got a brilliant opportunity for scoring a goal when Everton goalkeeper, Paul Gerrard met with an injury. But instead of heading the cross into the goal, Canio decided to stop the play and caught the cross in his hands. For this, he was awarded FIFA Fair Play Award by Gerrard before the reverse fixture in March 2001.
