3. Shah Rukh Khan: Shah Rukh Khan is a passionate team owner. This is evident from his regular appearance in the stands in support of his team. SRK is a stakeholder in the production house Red Chillies Entertainment, the company which eventually owns the Kolkata franchise. SRK is the co-owner of the team with Jay Mehta, who also has a share in Red Chilies Entertainment. Reportedly, SRK has a net worth of $600 million. This makes him the third richest owner in the Indian T20 League.
Kolkata has won the trophy two times in the history of the tournament, in 2012 and 2014. Last year Kolkata played the finals against Chennai but lost the match.
