The new season of the Pro Kabaddi League is going to start in October 2022. Recently, on 5 and 6 August 2022, a two-day auction happened. There all 12 teams built their full squad ahead of this new season. Some players managed a huge amount of money while some veteran players failed to grab any attention.

Teams took players from four different categories. This auction also witnessed a jump in the 1 crore club from two players in the last player auction to four players. Speaking of all the squads, an exciting Pro Kabaddi League (PKL) season is waiting for fans.

Here are the top five players to watch out for in the Pro Kabaddi League (PKL) Season 9

Pawan Kumar Sehrawat

This player became the highest-ever buy in the history of the Pro Kabaddi League. Tamil Thalaivas bought him for a whopping Rs 2.26 crore. Speaking of his performance, he has been the number one raider in this league for the last three years.  

Vikash Khandola

Bengaluru  Bulls bought this player for this upcoming season for Rs 1.70 crore. This player had a great season with Haryana Steelers last time around. Hence, this player can light up this year also. He is famous for his Running Hand Touch.

Fazel Atrachali

Puneri Paltans spent Rs 1.38 crore to acquire the services of Fazel Atrachali. He also became the most expensive defender and overseas player in this league. His deadly and trickest moves will make him a must-watch in the next season also.  

Guman Singh

This former player from Patna Pirates had a fantastic season 8. It helped him to build a reputation. Thus, it earned him a new franchise this time around. U Mumba bought this player for Rs 1.21 crore. Last season, he grabbed 95 points in 19 matches. 

Pardeep Narwal

This veteran raider will look again to impress his fans this next season. This time around, Gujarat Giants launched a bid for him of Rs 90 lakh. However, he ended up at UP Yoddhas as they used the Final Bid Match (FBM) Card to retain him.
