Twitter goes berserk as Kohli gets GOAT symbol

Former India skipper Virat Kohli has got a goat symbol in front of his Hashtag on the micro-blogging site Twitter. The term GOAT, also known as Greatest Of All Time, is used against veterans of a field. Sportspersons such as Sachin Tendulkar, Lionel Messi, Cristiano Ronaldo, Virat Kohli, etc are regarded as GOAT.
Kohli is one of the veterans of modern era. He is often termed as the best limited overs batters. He has been compared with greats like Sachin Tendulkar and Vivian Richards, which is an achievement in itself. Kohli is only behind Sachin Tendulkar in terms of most centuries. The last few years hasn’t been the best for Kohli as he has failed to breach the 100 run mark, yet, despite his not so great returns, he has scored runs more than many good batters in the word. This shows that even when not in the best of forms, Kohli will find a way to score runs. Meanwhile, Twitter reacted to Kohli getting a GOAT symbol.
