Twitter Reactions: Lalit Yadav pulls off a heist as Delhi stun Mumbai by 4 wickets

In the second match of the Indian T20 League, Delhi and Mumbai faced off against each other at Brabourne Stadium, Mumbai. The second match of the tournament turned out to be quite a thriller going down the wire.

Delhi won the toss and the skipper Rishabh Pant decided to field first. Rohit Sharma and Ishan Kishan gave the team a brilliant start giving them 67 runs of the first wicket. Ishan Kishan continued his brilliant show and was aided by cameos from Tilak Varma and Tim David, taking the Mumbai Score to 177 runs for the loss of 5 wickets at the end of 20 Overs. Kuldeep Yadav seemed like getting backing his old touch as he picked up 3 wickets for 18 runs from his 4 overs.

Delhi while chasing looked in trouble from the very beginning. Halfway through the innings, Delhi was five wickets down. Only Prithvi Shaw showed some resilience at the top order scoring 38 runs from 24 deliveries. But when Delhi looked done and dusted Shardul Thakur staged a mini turn around scoring 22 runs off 11 deliveries. When he got out Delhi still needed 74 runs from 40 deliveries. Lalit Yadav kept his cool and continued to give panic to the Mumbai camp. He was aided by Axar Patel and the duo guided the team to 4 wicket victory. They put together 72 runs in the partnership. With the defeat Mumbai continued their consistency in losing the first match of the Indian T20 League since 2012.

The fans lauded Ishan Kishan’s effort and felt sad that it went in vain. But every body was praising Lalit Yadav.
