After the completion of the 16th edition of the Indian Premier League (IPL) on Monday, May 29, India will lock horns with Australia in the final of the Test Championship, which is scheduled to take place from June 7 to June 11 at The Oval, in Southampton. This will be the second consecutive Test Championship Final for the Indian side.

Indian Cricket Board established a collaboration with Adidas for India’s jersey across three formats only days before the start of the World Test Championship final. The veterans of the Indian squad posed in the new Test shirt before the pivotal match against Australia, offering fans a preview of the new gear they can expect from the team at the Oval starting on Wednesday. Posing in the new Test jersey were players like Virat Kohli, Rohit Sharma, Shubman Gill, Ravindra Jadeja, and others.

According to a statement from the board, Adidas will have exclusive rights to manufacture uniforms for all game types under the terms of the deal, which runs until March 2028. All match, training, and travel apparel for the Board’s men’s, women’s, and youth teams will be provided exclusively by Adidas. Team India will wear the three stripes for the very first time beginning in June 2023, and they’ll make their debut in it at the World Test Championship Finals.
