After having a good Asia Cup campaign, Pakistan kicked off its seven-match T20I series against England on 20 September 2022. In the Asia Cup, Pakistan played the final against Sri Lanka. However, they lost the final. Hence, they were looking for a good start in this series ahead of the 20-20 World Cup.

Meanwhile, the result did not go in favour of the home side. The Men in Green lost against England by six wickets. However, during the match, a funny incident took place from the stands. The video went viral and fans also found it funny as they shared it on Twitter.

England chased down 159 runs against Pakistan with four balls to spare

Speaking of that video, fans were enjoying the match from the stands. Then, the camera focused on some fans. During that, one fan was seen showing his middle finger as he looked to be very happy and excited about the match.

Speaking of the match, England won the toss and they asked the home side to bat first in Karachi. Pakistan scored 158 runs by losing seven wickets in 20 overs. Rizwan scored 68 runs off 46 balls, including six fours and two sixes. Apart from him, Babar Azam scored 31 runs while Iftikhar scored 28 runs off 17 balls. For England, Luke Wood took three wickets by conceding 24 runs in four overs. In response, Alex Hales and Phil Salt came out to open the innings.

Meanwhile, England chased down the target with ease in just 19.2 overs. England won the match by six wickets. Alex Hales scored 53 runs off 40 balls, including seven fours. Harry Brook also scored 42* runs off 25 balls, including seven fours. His inning helped England to complete the chase with ease with four balls to spare. Luke Wood won the player of the match award for his exceptional bowling performance. Now, both teams will be in action again on 22 September 2022 for the second match of the series in Karachi.
