Star Indian batter Virat Kohli has been trending again, but this time he didn’t do anything either on the field or off the field. A crazy fan girl kissed Kohli’s wax statue at the Madame Tussauds wax museum in Delhi. The video of the girl kissing the statue went viral on social media.

Kohli is currently with the Indian team in an ongoing Test series against Australia. He hasn’t put a great show in the series till now, but he recently achieved a milestone of crossing 25,000 runs in minimum innings in the second innings of the Delhi Test. The 34-year-old achieved the feat in 449 innings across all formats.

India are currently 2-0 up in a four-match Test series and they have retained the Border-Gavaskar Trophy. The hosts dominated Australia in all the departments in the first two Tests. India won the Nagpur Test by an inning and 132 runs, and the Delhi Test by 6 wickets. The third Test will be played in Indore on March 1.

The spin duo of Ravichandran Ashwin and Ravindra Jadeja have taken 32 wickets together so far in the series. Jadeja registered his career-best figures in the third innings of the Delhi Test picking up 7 wickets for 42 runs. He has also performed with the bat scoring 70 runs in the second innings of the Nagpur Test.

Indian Cricket Board announces squad for ODIs against Australia

After the Tests, India and Australia will lock horns in a three-match ODI series that is scheduled to start on March 17. Indian Cricket Board has announced the squad for the ODIs. Hardik Pandya will lead the side in the first ODI as Rohit Sharma will be unavailable due to family commitments.
