While interviewing Australian cricketer Maitlan Brown for a respected English Media Agency, sports presenter Chris Hughes faced criticism for making inappropriate comments. The match took place at Trent Bridge, Nottingham, in the United Kingdom where Trent Rocket locked horns with Southern Brave. Hughes asked Brown about the team-building exercises. To which she replied that the team went to see Greta Gerwig’s Barbie recently.

“We watched Barbie the other night altogether and it was really good team bonding and the group is gelling really well together. That is the key to success I think in tournaments like this, how well and how quickly you can gel as a group,” Brown was quoted as saying. To which Hughes replied, “You’re a little Barbie yourself innit, with your blue eyes.” After hearing the cricketer laughed and the presenter asserted, “She’s blushing now.”
