Shoaib Malik tied the knot for the third time with Pakistani actress Sana Javed amid divorce rumours with his 2nd wife and Indian tennis ace star Sania Mirza. Shoaib Malik the Pakistani cricketer married Sania Mirza in 2010 amid all the outside buzz surrounding the marriage. On January 20, he shook both India and Pakistan when he announced on social that he’s tied the knot with actress Sana Javed.

Post the announcement, Malik received a lot of backlash from both sides of the border and there were even reports that Shoaib Malik’s family was also not happy with his recent wedding and they didn’t even attend the wedding. Owing to this, Sana Javed recently encountered an uncomfortable situation during a PSL match where she was teased by Sania Mirza’s chants by some of the Pakistani fans.

It all happened during the match between Multan Sultan and Karachi Kings where Sana came to support her husband, Shoaib Malik, who was playing for the Karachi Kings some fans present on the ground started teasing her by chanting Sania Mirza’s name but she maintained her calm and ignored the fans. The video of the incident went viral on social media in no time.

Shoaib Malik’s half-century was in vain against consistent Multan

Despite Shoaib Malik’s impressive half-century performance, it was not enough to secure a victory for Karachi Kings as Multan Sultans emerged victorious by 55 runs in their opening match of the PSL on Sunday (February 18).

Batting first, Multan Sultans posted a total of 185/2 in their allotted 20 overs. Reeza Hendricks played a stellar innings, scoring 79 runs off 54 balls, which included three sixes and seven boundaries. Dawid Malan also contributed to the 52 runs off 41 deliveries, featuring one six and four boundaries. Karachi Kings’ bowlers Mir Hamza and Daniel Sams managed to take one wicket each.

In response to this, Shoaib Malik showed his batting prowess by scoring 53 runs off 35 balls, including two sixes and five boundaries. However, his efforts were in vain as Karachi Kings fell short of the target.

Captain Shan Masood and Kieron Pollard made notable contributions with scores of 30 (off 31 balls) and 28 (off 29 balls) respectively. Mohammad Ali delivered an outstanding bowling performance, claiming 3/23, while David Willey and Abbas Afridi secured two wickets each for Multan Sultans.
