Aussie cricketer Glenn Maxwell has taken time away from cricket for his marriage. Maxwell married a Tamil girl, Vini Raman in the traditional South Indian style. The photos of the couple were widely circulated on social media.

And now, another video has been released which shows both Maxwell and his wife dancing and exchanging their wedding garlands. The song ‘Balakrishnan Nee’ is playing in the background. You can see the video of Maxwell and Vini Raman exchanging their garlands below. The video has garnered close to 2000 likes at the time of writing.

Glenn Maxwell skipped Australia’s limited-overs series against Pakistan because of his marriage. The 33-year-old is also a part of the Bangalore squad for the 2022 edition of the Indian T20 League. The right-handed batter has featured in 97 matches in the tournament and has amassed 2018 runs at an average of 25.23 with the willow in hand.

However, it is Maxwell’s strike rate of 151.84 that sends a shiver down the spine of the opposition whenever he walks out to bat. The 33-year-old was the fifth-highest run-getter in the 2021 edition of the Indian T20 League and plundered 513 runs at an average of 42.75 and a strike rate of 144.10.

Ahead of the 2022 mega auction, Maxwell was retained by the Bangalore side for a sum of INR 11 Crores. Maxwell last featured in a competitive match on 20th February 2022 against the Sri Lankan side at the Melbourne Cricket Ground (MCG). He scored a 21-ball 29 in that match with the willow in hand.

The trailblazing batter has played 116 ODIs and 84 T20I matches for the Australian side. While he has scored over 3000 (3230) runs in his ODI career, Maxwell has plundered 1982 runs in T20I cricket at an average of close to 31. He was also a part of the Australian squad that won the 2021 20-20 World Cup which took place in the United Arab Emirates (UAE).
