Watch: In midst of criticism, Qatar locals offer food for spectators during Senegal vs Qatar game
Leading up to the ongoing FIFA World Cup 2022, hosts Qatar has been facing plenty of criticisms. From Human rights abuse to restrictions, the Asian country is facing the ire of the fans. Meanwhile, during Senegal vs Qatar game on November 25, the locals won the hearts of the fans. Apparently, in a video that is going viral, the locals were seen serving food to the fans.
Fans of the home team and the African side were served food by the fans outside of the Al Thumama Stadium, Doha. As many as 41,797 fans were present inside the stadium to watch the game In the video, a localite was making a Vlog on the locals serving food. The video has been doing rounds on the internet. At the time of writing, it has been watched by more than 184,000 people.

Qatar crashed out of the FIFA World Cup 2022
Talking about the game, the hosts and Senegal were playing a must-win game in the tournament. Both teams had lost their opening games and needed to win this game to remain alive for the Round of 16. However, the Western African side dominated the game as they won by 3-1. At half-time, the visitors led by 1-0 thanks to a goal from Boulaye Dia (41′).
In the second half, Famara Diedhiou (48′) piled up the misery of the hosts. Even though Mohammed Muntari (78′) scored his first for Qatar, Bamba Dieng (84′) from Senegal made sure that his side ran away with the game. Now, they need to win their next game against Ecuador on November 29. On the other hand, Qatar has been ruled out of the tournament in the first round. They have become the second home team after South Africa (2010) to be ruled out of the first round.
