India’s dynamic pace duo Jasprit Bumrah and Mohammed Siraj recently succeeded in their last campaign of the series against South Africa. India won The second test match against South Africa as they registered a historical win in the shortest test match ever recorded in the history of Cricket. Siraj and Bumrah’s magnificent partnership on the field lead India towards a draw in the series. 

In the post-match ceremony after being awarded as the player of the match, Siraj credited Bumrah for his success on the field as his valuable tips led him to attain his best figures in test cricket. While translating his words into English, Bumrah failed to talk about the ones where he gave him all the credit which won the hearts of the fans.

Mohammed Siraj on Jasprit Bumrah’s valuable guidance on the field 

“It’s my best figure in Test career. I tried to be consistent, hit the right areas and not think too much. I wasn’t consistent in the previous match and that’s why we leaked a lot of runs. Worked hard on consistency and tried to be relentless with my lengths. That gave me a lot of rewards. When we play together, he (Bumrah) gets the message earlier. We try to analyse the wicket a little quicker so that the communication goes to the bowling circuit that this is the wicket and this is what we are looking to do. (Message to the fans) Thank you so much, keep supporting, keep loving”, said Mohammed Siraj while talking about Bumrah. 

“So yeah, because when we play along together, he gets the message earlier because of your experience. We try to analyse the wicket quicker so that communication goes in the bowling circuit that this is the wicket and this is what we are looking to do. So that helps him sometimes,” said Bumrah while translating Mohammed Siraj’s words.
