The recently-concluded game between Scotland and the West Indies saw a toddler falling off the railing inside the Bellerive Oval, Hobart. The incident happened at the end of the 14th over of the Scotland’s innings. At that time, the scorecard read 107/3, with George Munsey and Calum Macleod were batting at the crease. Meanwhile, talking about the video, it seems that the father wasn’t around when the incident happened.

In the video, it can be seen that the father of the kid was chasing the kid down. However, the kid fell off before his father could reach. Notably, the kid didn’t got injured much as the height of the stands was small. The fans who watch the incident during the game will be hoping for the toddler to be doing fine.

Talking about the 20-20 World Cup 2022 encounter between Scotland and West Indies, the European side trounced the former champions by 42 runs. After being asked to bat first, the Richie Berrington-led side scored 160/5 at the end of the innings. Opening batter, George Munsey scored an unbeaten 66 while the likes of Calum MacLeod and Chris Greaves played some good cameos. In reply, the two-time winners had no answer to the brilliant bowling from the Scottish.

Mark Watt was the protagonist for his side with three wickets and only conceding 12 runs. Other bowlers chipped in and bowled out the opposition on just 118 runs in 18.3 overs. With this win, the Purple Brigade has almost qualified for the Super 12 round. Their next two games will be against Ireland (October 19) and Zimbabwe (October 21). A win in either of the games will guarantee their place in the Super 12 round. Notably, this team played in the Super 12 round last year as well.

On the other hand, the West Indies would need to win both their games to avoid the embarrassment of getting knocked out in the first round. They need to win against Zimbabwe (October 19) and Ireland (October 21).
