On 21 August 2022, Real Madrid took on Celta Vigo at Balaidos for their second game of this year’s La Liga season. However, Real Madrid was coming off a win. While Celta was coming off with a draw in their first match. Hence, Real was looking to carry their winning momentum in the second match also.
Speaking of results, Real managed to win this match with ease with a scoreline of 4-1. Luka Modric scored a stunner from outside of the box along with an assist to another goal. Fans loved that goal and it got viral all over the internet.

Speaking of that goal, it was the third goal of the match. Both teams were on level terms after 40 minutes. Then, Modric pulled this stunner out of his bag. He left Renato Tapia on the floor and then, curled that beautiful shot into the top corner from 25 yards.
Now, it was the first match for Real Madrid after their long-time midfielder, Casemiro made the transfer to Manchester United. But, Real looked without any discomfort as they cruised past Celta Vigo.
Speaking of that match, it was the visitors, who took the early lead in the 14th minute. Karim Benzema scored from teh spot. Then, the home side equalised just after nine minutes. Iago Aspas also scored from teh spot to make it 1-1. Then, Modric came up with teh stunner as Real led the half-time by 2-1. In the second half, Real took the game away as Vinicius Junior and Valverde scored two goals in the 56th and 66th minute respectively. Thus, the match ended with a final scoreline of 4-1. With this win, Real Madrid remained at the top of the table with six points from two games. Real Madrid will take on Espanyol at Cornella-El Prat on 29 August 2022 for the third game of this season.
