On October 23, former India skipper Virat Kohli snatched the victory from the jaws of defeat against arch-rivals Pakistan. That game was pretty much gone for the Men In Blue after losing four wickets for 31 runs, chasing 160. However, thanks to his innings of unbeaten 82 off 53 balls including six fours and four sixes. This inning meant that the 2007 winners won by four wickets on the last ball of the game.

Fast forward to November 9, the 2009 winners annihilated New Zealand in the first semifinal of the ongoing 20-20 World Cup 2022. With this result, fans around the globe are anticipating another India-Pakistan in the ongoing tournament. However, a Pakistan fan expressed her wish not wanting to see India in the final. Apparently, the fan said that she fears Kohli and wants England to win their semifinal.

Talking about India vs England semifinal, the Three Lions have won the toss and elected to bowl first. England skipper Jos Buttler said, “Obviously the dimensions here are a little different, so we have to adapt quickly.” Meanwhile, the Adelaide Oval, the venue of the game is a favorite for Virat over the years. He hit his maiden Test hundred (2012), hit his first Test hundred as captain (2014), and became the first Indian to score a hundred against Pakistan in ODI World Cup (2015).

Recently, in the Super 12 game against Bangladesh, he extended his good run with an unbeaten 64 off 44 balls including eight fours and a six. Meanwhile, in the upcoming game against the 2010 winners, Kohli would look to extend his tremendous form with the bat. In the tournament, he has played five games and has scored 246 runs averaging 123 runs. He only got against South Africa and Zimbabwe. In the games he remained unbeaten, he scored a match-winning fifty.
