Watch: Rajasthan shares ‘hilarious’ version of their Indian T20 League player auction conversation

On December 23, the player auction for the 16th season of the Indian T20 League was conducted. All 10 teams almost managed to plug the holes which they had ahead of the event. Meanwhile, ahead of the event and during break times, the coaching staff of different franchises had a chat with each other. After the event, an ‘edited’ version of a conversation from the Rajasthan camp is going viral.

In the video, various owners and the director of cricket operations, Kumar Sangakkara were having a conversation. Meanwhile, listening to the audio, some of the coaches were talking about they could have signed Ben Stokes but decided against it and went for Harry Brook. For the unversed, the England Test skipper is signed by Chennai. On the other hand, Brook is signed by Hyderabad. Hilariously enough, the video was shared by the Jaipur-based team on Twitter.

Meanwhile, talking about the 2008 winners’ performance in the auction, they have signed some interesting players. For the first time in the history of the league, former England Test skipper Joe Root will play. In the dying moments of the auction, the Pink Brigade signed him. Apart from him, former Bangalore player, Adam Zampa was signed by the team. Jason Holder was also signed by the side.
