The 2023 ODI World Cup is around the corner, and there is a massive frenzy around the event. The biggest game of the tournament is the encounter between India and Pakistan. The match is set to be played on 14th October at the famous Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad.

This will be the eighth time the two teams meet in the ODI World Cup. Babar Azam and his team are coming to India for the first time in seven years. This match is already creating a lot of buzz as the ODI World Cup gets nearer. Star Sports, which is the official broadcaster of the 2023 ODI World Cup, is keen to cash in on the frenzy. The channel has released a video ad for the big game between the two arch-rivals.

Star Sports creates excitement for the big Indo-Pak game –

The official broadcasters for the 2023 ODI World Cup are Star Sports. The channel took to Twitter to post a 50-second clip of the video advert for the big India versus Pakistan game. The advertisement features the famous ‘Mauka..Mauka’ guy, as well as Ravindra Jadeja. The tagline of the ad is ‘Eight ka Wait’.

India has beaten Pakistan in all of the 7 previous encounters in World Cups. This year, the two teams meet for the 8th time when they take the field on 14th October. Pakistan got their visas recently and is set to fly to India for the 2023 ODI World Cup.

Pakistan skipper Babar Azam recently addressed the media before departure to India. Babar spoke on the alleged differences he had with star pace bowler Shaheen Shah Afridi. The two had a falling out in the dressing room post the loss to Sri Lanka in Asia Cup 2023.

Babar Azam said. “There is no ill will in the dressing room. There are discussions after every loss but they get twisted into something else entirely. The entire team is like a family and there is love and respect there.”

Pakistan begin their World Cup campaign with a game against the Netherlands on 6th October. India will play Australia at Chennai on 8th October as Rohit Sharma and his men look to win their third title
