WATCH: Steve Smith stops play for an unexpected sightseeing

Australia and Pakistan are currently locking horns for the 3rd Test Match of Pakistan’s tour of Australia. Pakistan has displayed an exceptional performance throughout the third test match against Australia as the first got the latter dismissed within a lead and currently has gotten a huge lead once again in the second innings.

On day three of the third match, there was an unexpected delay in the game as Steve Smith began to concentrate on the stadium staff as they climbed across a cloth wall to reach the other end. Smith began watching the sight screen as the bowler waited for him to concentrate back on the game.

Aamer Jamal on representing Pakistan against Australia in the Test series

Ahead of day three, Jamal spoke to the official broadcaster and said, “I am over the moon now. Feeling proud to be representing my country at such a level and performing for them. This is a wonderful achievement for me. It’s been so long, I still remember those days when I came to watch the Pakistan team’s games and now I represent my country. I just back myself every time. Even if I concede runs, I back myself.”

He further added, “When you try to get a wicket, you give boundaries as well. Captain, vice-captain, coaching staff – they’ve been giving me confidence. They wanted me to bowl the way I was bowling. We were seven down for 227, that partnership with Mir Hamza brought us back into the game and we are even a couple of runs ahead of them.”
