WATCH: Suryakumar Yadav’s disguise as cameraman to talk to fans on Marine Drive ahead of match against Sri Lanka and ODI World Cup 2023

India’s star batsman Suryakumar Yadav recently disguised himself as a cameraman to roam around on the streets of Mumbai at the Marine Drive to have a candid chat with the fans. The batsman completely covered himself with a sleeve shirt to cover his widely recognised tattoos, a mask, sunglasses and a cap. 

The Indian Cricket Board exclusively posted the video on their website and official social media handles leaving the fans in awe of the cricketer’s simplicity of talking to the fans candidly without any bodyguard or extra security. After revealing his identity to the fans Suryakumar Yadav also clicked multiple pictures and then left the place. 

Before leaving to meet the fans on Marine Drive in Mumbai Suryakumar Yadav surprised India’s all-rounder and spinner Ravindra Jadeja with his attire. Jadeja was left surprised as he couldn’t recognise Surya and appreciated him for his look. 

Suryakumar Yadav in his unrecognisable look questioned the fans about their favourite cricketer and the best thing they like about them. Many fans gave the answers of Rohit Sharma, Virat Kohli, and Jasprit Bumrah but when he asked about himself to the fans they replied that he should get a chance to play more.

Fan ends up calling Suryakumar Yadav India’s Mr. 360

A fan openly expressed her admiration for Suryakumar Yadav’s unique style of playing and hitting boundaries and sixes all across the park, she also ended up calling him Mr 360°, which has been popularly given to the South African attacking batsman AB de Villiers and Suryakumar Yadav in India. 

Surya then revealed his identity to her which left her surprised as he thanked her for the compliments that she gave him. Yadav also clicked multiple pictures with her before heading back to the hotel. 

Suryakumar Yadav asked about himself as a fan, he said that Suryakumar Yadav doesn’t get to play much and he should be upgraded to a higher batting position in the team, he also added that he cannot advise him to bat in a certain way considering he has coached in the team for that. Suryakumar admitted that he couldn’t control his laughter as he heard the responses.
