Watch: Virat Kohli and Anushka Sharma’s daughter Vamika trying to speak ‘Mumma’

Virat Kohli and Anushka Sharma welcomed their first child on January 11, 2021. Since then, the couple has decided not to share a photo or video of their baby on social media. They both have requested paparazzi on several occasions to not click a photo of their daughter.
Vamika is about to turn a year old in the next couple of days. Ahead of her birthday, a video is circulating on social media where Vamika can be heard trying to say ‘Mumma’. The adorable video was shared with a caption:
“How adorable is this. Favourite video of this year. Vamika calling mmm…maa..maa..maaa.. maamma @anushkasharma thank you for sharing this. Nothing make a mother more happy than this, when her little one called her mummaa”

Earlier, it was speculated that Kohli might miss the ODI series against South Africa to celebrate his daughter’s birthday. But, Kohli told the media that he would be available for selection. On December 31, BCCI announced an 18-man squad for the ODI series and Kohli’s name was there in the list. However, he will not lead the side, with KL Rahul named as skipper in the absence of Rohit Sharma.
Meanwhile, the second Test between India and South Africa gets underway on January 3. South Africa will be without Quinton de Kock, who took retirement from the Test format after the first game.
