Former India skipper Virat Kohli dropped a dolly at first slips in the ongoing third day of the first Test against Australia. The incident happened in the sixth over of the innings. Ravichandran Ashwin, who had taken the wicket of Usman Khawaja, edged David Warner. However, Kohli, who took the catch of Khawaja, failed to take the catch of Warner.

Meanwhile, the former India skipper is having a forgettable game so far. This was his second drop catch of the game. In the first innings as well, he dropped a simple catch at slips. Also, with the bat, the right-hander could only score 12 runs. He was caught down the leg side by Alex Carey off debutant Todd Murphy, who ended up taking seven wickets in the game.
