Watch: Virat Kohli turns Kishore Kumar’s bunglow into a restaurant
Virat Kohli has expanded his restaurant business in Mumbai. He owns a restaurant chain in Delhi, Kolkata, and Pune. Notably, the expansion of his business is quite outrageous. After all, the former India skipper has turned the Late Legendary singer, Kishore Kumar’s bungalow into a restaurant. For the unversed, the late singer was one of the biggest names in the Indian music industry in the 20th century.
In a video uploaded on Youtube, the 33-year-old and famous TV anchor, Manish Paul visited the new restaurant. The former explained the reasons for the specific interiors he asked for when the bungalow was getting renovated. During the conversation with Paul, Virat said that he was a fan of ‘Kishore Da’ (The Late Singer was fondly called).
“His songs have really really touched me. One person asked me who would you like to meet, I would have said Kishore Da always because he was just charismatic,” the cricketer can be heard saying in the video.

Apart from owning a restaurant chain, he also owns businesses that range from clothing, fragrances, and shoes, etc. Meanwhile, Kohli and the Indian team have headed to Australia for the upcoming 20-20 World Cup 2022, starting on October 16. This is the first time since the 2016 20-20 World Cup that he won’t lead the Indian team. At that time, he was the vice-captain of the team. Last year, the former India U19 skipper led the team for the first and only time in a 20-20 World Cup.
After the tournament, he stood down and is now playing in the team as a veteran. His ongoing form with the bat will be important for the team in the showpiece event. Recently, he hit his maiden hundred in the shortest format and has a few half-centuries going into the World Cup. The team would be hoping for him to do well. India will open their campaign against Pakistan on October 23.
