The talismanic Australian all-rounder Andrew Symonds passed away in a tragic car accident on the outskirts of the Townsville in Queensland on Saturday, 14th of May. It has been three days since the tragic incident but it is still unclear as to how Symonds’ car rolled down the embankment. But in a recent development, a local man named Waylon Townson has revealed how he tried to revive the all-rounder in his last moments.
Earlier, the police also stated that the emergency health services tried their best to revive Symonds before he, unfortunately, succumbed to his injuries. Meanwhile, in an interview with a local Australian media network, Townson revealed that he kept checking Symonds pulse and tried to give him CPR. But as per the witness, he did not get much response from the Aussie all-rounder.
“He was stuck in there, so I tried to pull him out. I started doing CPR and checked his pulse but I didn’t get much response for him,”- Townson said in his interview with Nine Network.
