Talking about the squad, it is a decent squad with players such as Shikha Pandey making a comeback. On the other hand, players such as Devika Vaidya, and Anjali Sarvani are new to international cricket. With not much to turn back to, the players would need to step up, especially in the knockouts.
After all, in Group B, they are slotted with the likes of Pakistan, Ireland, the West Indies, and England. Looking at the Group, the likes of India and England are set to make it to the semis. During the Group stages, India would need to give their best before the semis.
