Chennai staged a dramatic turnaround in 2021 after they finished at the bottom of the table in 2020. Chennai came back strong to win their fourth title. This year, Chennai will look to win their 5th title. They begin their campaign on 26th March against last year’s runners-up Kolkata.

With a few woes such as the absence of Deepak Chahar in the first half of the tournament, and Ruturaj Gaikwad coming back from an injury, Chennai will look to find the right combination quickly and peak at the right time to defend their title.
