In this second match of the series, India can drop the veteran pacer after another poor show in the first match. Bhuvneshwar Kumar had been performing badly since Asia Cup wherever he was bowling in the death overs. In the series opener, Bhuvneshwar conceded 16 runs in the 19th over.
Hence, in the last over, Australia needed only two runs to win. Kumar conceded 52 runs in four overs at an economy of 13. Now, in the second match, India can bring Deepak Chahar in place of him. He did well in the ODI series in Zimbabwe after his comeback. His swinging deliveries can help India to get early wickets.
