1. Shikhar Dhawan
Shikhar Dhawan is known to be Mr ICC by the fans for his performance on the biggest stage. The Southpaw had an aura in himself when he batted. The star batter was one of the most selfless batters and always stepped up for the team when it mattered the most. In Tests, Dhawan did not play in the tour. But in the limited-overs formats, Dhawan was brilliant. Particularly in ODIs, the experienced batter was brilliant in all 6 matches in the series. He played a key role in India’s maiden series wins in SA.
In the ODI series, Dhawan was the second-best batter of the series behind Virat Kohli, who had an astonishing series as a batter. In the series, Dhawan gave very good starts for India and converted them into big ones on a couple of occasions. throughout the series, he carried the Indian batting along with Virat. Even in the T20I series, Dhawan was very good. In 2022, Dhawan did not have a great time in South Africa.
