The 17th season of the Indian Premier League (IPL) is just around the corner and the auction for the tournament will soon be hosted by the Indian Cricket Board for the first time overseas. The auction for IPL 2024 will be held on 19 December from 2 PM IST in Dubai.

Approximately 1166 players have registered their names to go under the hammer including 830 Indian players and 336 overseas players. Among the 1166 players, 212 are capped players, along with a whopping number of 909 uncapped players, and 45 associate players (players from the Apex Cricket Council’s associate nations).

The mini-action has only 77 available player slots across the 10 participating team franchisees among which 30 slots are reserved for overseas players. With over a thousand Participating players there are a few who have signed up for a base price of 50 Lakhs but can bag Millions for their skills in the biggest cricket league in the world.

Here is a list of players who have registered for the base price but can bag huge money in the IPL 2024 auction:

The young Kiwi player with Indian roots has gained massive recognition for his power-hitting all-rounder abilities after his successful campaign in the ODI World Cup 2023. Rachin Ravindra can expect to bag crores in the upcoming auction by teams who desire a top-order batter who can also provide a decent spin bowling option in the middle overs.

2 Manish Pandey

The IPL veteran Manish Pandey has been participating in the cash-rich league for over a decade and has consistently powered up the innings with boundaries and quick running between the wickets with his high fitness levels. Pandey was recently released by Delhi Capitals ahead of the IPL 2024 auction. There are high chances that some teams could go behind him in order to get a decent middle-order batter.

3 Chetan Sakariya

India’s young pacer Chetan Sakariya has impressed the cricket fraternity with his bowling in the IPL as well as domestic cricket. Sakariya has previously represented Rajasthan Royals (RR) and Delhi Capitals in the IPL and can be a good option for the teams looking for a domestic pacer.
