Indian trio take top honors for IPL Auctions –

Just three Indian players were slotted at the INR 2 Crore bracket for the IPL Mini Auction 2024. Shardul Thakur, Umesh Yadav, and Harshal Patel are the players in question. The trio will be looking for new homes after being released a few weeks ago.

Former Indian batter Kedar Jadhav was cut from the list of INR 2 Crore cricketers. The 38-year-old was drafted in as a replacement player by Royal Challengers Bangalore last year. Kedar Jadhav did not get any game time as he was seen on the bench and eventually released.

Forgotten Indian stars, Karun Nair and Manish Pandey too have made the final list. The Karnataka duo will hope to find a new team as they hope to make a return to the Indian team.

Released stars like Rovman Powell, Harry Brook, Lockie Ferguson, and Josh Hazlewood also find themselves shortlisted. The four players in question will be looked at by each considering their quality and experience with the bat and ball.

Rachin Ravindra and Gerald Coetzee are the two names that many teams will actively bid for. The pair performed well for their national side during the ODI World Cup 2023 tournament which was held in India.

Indian youngsters Shivam Mavi and Chetan Sakariya have priced themselves reasonably. The two players will want to make IPL 2024 successful in a bid to make it back to the Indian team soon. As the days tick by the anticipation certainly builds amongst the fans and players alike in what promises to be a big auction day next Tuesday.
