3 Possible Candidates Who Can Replace Anil Kumble As Punjab Head Coach For The Next Season

Punjab is known as one of the franchises in the Indian T20 League. However, they failed to win any titles so far in their history. In the last season, they finished seventh. Hence, they will look to change certain things in their camp ahead of the next season.

However, as per reports, this franchise is looking to change its coaching faculty ahead of the next season. Former India great Anil Kumble was the coach for them in the last season. Now, they are looking for some either names to guide the team for the next season.

Eoin Morgan

This Irish batter from England announced his retirement from all forms of the game on 28 June 2022. This player enjoyed an illustrative career as he led England to win their first-ever World Cup in a 50-over format. Eoin Morgan can be a better option for this franchise for a head coach ahead of the next Indian T20 League season.

However, as a player, he had a vast amount of experience while playing for different franchises. Recently, he was with the Kolkata franchise as their captain in 2021. He also led them to the final of that year’s edition. However, Kolkata did not retain him as in the last auction, he did not get any team. But, with his experience and game-reading abilities, Punjab can definitely look for him as a coach in the near future.
