3) Increase the value of NXT titles
WWE has toyed with the idea of elevating NXT championships to the same status as its main roster rivals throughout the years. In the past, performers like Charlotte Flair were fortunate enough to have their authority on the third label recognised before they were abruptly and without cause removed from their records. This has given viewers the notion that the names of the Tuesday Night Show are unimportant.
If this were changed, big eventers including Roman Reigns and WWE faces would be immediately on par. Additionally, it would enhance the credentials of current big eventers notably Seth Rollins and Drew McIntyre, who succeeded in NXT. It may be the boost the third brand needs to catch up to RAW and SmackDown and lose its “minor league” label.
