2009 T20I World Cup- Virender Sehwag
Virender Sehwag sustained a shoulder injury during the 2009 Indian T20 League in South Africa and was ruled out of the upcoming T20I World Cup in England. Although he travelled with the team he was replaced with Murali Vijay as the injury scare ended his campaign.
India went into the second round but crashed out without winning a single game in the second round.
