However, after some time, he made a comeback in the domestic circuit. But, still, he will be not a part of the final squad due to an injury. Selectors also failed to tell a probable date for his comeback.
But, he is most likely to be available for the upcoming edition of the Indian T0 League. Speaking about missing the 20-20 World Cup 2021, Archer opened up in an interaction with Sports Mail. He said: “The hardest two pills I’ve had to swallow were not playing in the Twenty20 World Cup and the Ashes. Watching the Ashes, I felt like I had let everyone down a little bit.”
