David Miller is known for his explosive batting abilities from the early days. In 2015, he was part of the Punjab franchise as he faced Kolkata in the Indian T20 League at Eden Gardens. But, an unfortunate incident happened as his one six hit a policeman’s eye who was present in the field, doing his duty.
Later, it was confirmed that the policeman lost his eyesight, and Miller was devastated by hearing that news. He also shared an apology tweet to him where he wrote: “The incident and its ramifications have been terrible. I wish this was not true – I am sorry for Mr. Aich’s irreversible loss and wish him the best recovery possible.”
