Virender Sehwag and MS Dhoni
This rumoured rift came up during the tri-series in Australia in 2012. In that series, Dhoni decided that he will rotate three senior players throughout the series. As per his reason, he had to pick any one of them for every match as they were all slow while fielding. These players were Sachin Tendulkar, Virender Sehwag, and Gautam Gambhir.
But, in the next match, Sehwag played and took an absolute stunner while fielding. After that, he said: “Did you see my catch? We are the same for the last 10 years. Nothing has changed,”. Naturally, that comment confirmed the rift between them. However, in the later stage, Virender Sehwag completely lost his place in the squad.
