Shikhar Dhawan wrote an emotional message on Instagram, on the occasion of his son’s birthday. The star cricketer has separated from his ex-wife Aesha and has been not allowed to have Zorawar Dhawan under his custody. The case between the two former couples is still going on in the court and Dhawan has been finding it difficult to even communicate with his son.

Taking to Instagram, Dhawan said that he has been blocked from everywhere. The captain of Punjab Kings hence claimed that he is wishing Zorawar on Instagram. “It’s been a year since I saw you in person, and now, for almost three months, I’ve been blocked from everywhere so Posting the same picture to wish you, my boy, a very Happy Birthday,” wrote Dhawan.

The star cricketer added that he could connect with Telepathy, as the other options were not available. The Indian opener said that he is proud of Zorawar. “Even if I can’t connect with you directly, I connect with you through Telepathy. I am so proud of you, and I know you’re doing great and growing up nicely,” added the experienced batter.

‘Waiting with a smile for the time when we will meet again by the Grace of God’ – Shikhar Dhawan

In November 2022, Dhawan last met his son. A year ago, the Southpaw had wished his son in a similar way virtually through his social media handle. Dhawan, who will be leading PBKS in the IPL 2024, let his son know how much he loves him with a long message. “Papa always misses you and loves you. He’s always positive, waiting with a smile for the time when we will meet again by the Grace of God,” wrote Dhawan as he hoped of meeting his son soon.

Dhawan wished his son and asked him to be not destructive. He asked Zorawar to be patient, humble, strong, and compassionate. “Be naughty but not destructive, be a giver, be humble, compassionate, patient, and strong. Despite not seeing you, I write you messages almost every day, asking about your well-being and daily life, sharing what I’m doing and what’s new in my life,” wrote Dhawan on Instagram.
