In the Indian T20 League’s 2022 season, he captained his Rajasthan franchise and led them to the finals. It was the second time in this franchise’s history that they qualified for the finals after the inaugural season.
But, eventually, Rajasthan failed to win as they lost against the Gujarat franchise. Throughout the tournament, Sanju Samson showed some excellent leadership skills. Even, everyone was impressed by his leadership skills. But, till now, he has not gotten any opportunity to lead his country.
