MS Dhoni is known as the greatest leader of India as he managed to win all the major titles for India during his tenure. But, he came into the International arena as Ganguly picked him during an ODI series against Bangladesh. He got out for a duck in his debut match.

But, Ganguly showed faith in him and he managed to become one of the most fantastic batters of all time in Indian cricket history. In 2007, Dhoni was the captain of the team when Ganguly played his retirement Test match. Even, Ganguly played his last ODI match under Dhoni’s captaincy. Speaking about Dhoni’s career, he played 538 International matches across all three formats and scored 17266 runs, including 16 hundred and 108 fifties.
