Watch: Kiccha Sudeep’s appearance in Pro Kabaddi event makes fans go crazy

The Kabaddi fever has returned with a bang this winter. Fans have returned to the stadium to cheer for their favorite teams this time around. In the season eight played early this year, the fans weren’t allowed to watch the game inside the stadium due to COVID-19 pandemic. With the pandemic threat pretty much gone, the organizers have allowed the fans inside the facilities.
Meanwhile, an event by the tournament organizers was conducted in Bangalore. During the event, renowned film actor, Kichha Sudeep made his appearance. Even though it is not clear for how long he was attending the event, the fans were thrilled by his presence. In a video uploaded on Twitter by Pro Kabaddi, the actor was surrounded by hundreds of fans in Bengaluru. Notably, the matches are currently played in Bangalore.

Talking about the tournament, the matches are being played at the Shree Kanteerava Indoor Stadium, Bengaluru. The first 41 games were scheduled to be be played at this ground. At this point, 15 games have been played. From October 28, the tournament will shift to the Shree Shivchhatrapati Sports Complex,Balewadi, Pune. After this, the tournament will shift to Gachibowli Indoor Stadium, Hyderabad after the match number 83. The rest of the league stage matches will be held in Hyderabad.
The venue for the playoffs including the final is yet to be announced. Meanwhile, talking about the teams in the tournament, defending champions Dabang Delhi K.C have started their campaign with a hat-trick of wins. Former champions, Bengaluru Bulls and Bengal Warriors have played three games each, won two and lost one. Another former winners, Jaipur Pink Panthers and U Mumba have had mixed starts. Both have played two games each, won one and lost as many.
