During the ongoing second Test match between West Indies and India in Port of Spain, visiting skipper Rohit Sharma caught up with the local wind-ball captain Karen. The wind-ball skipper is a fan of Rohit Sharma’s captaincy, and it was a fangirl moment for the local skipper. The local captain elaborated on what went down in her small catch-up session with Rohit, calling him one of the “top-of-the-line” captains.
As per reports by RevSportz, Karen said that they spoke about wind-ball cricket and that she stated to the 36-year-old that she was the captain of a wind ball cricket team, known commonly as tennis ball cricket in India. The Indian skipper, hailing from Mumbai would have seen a lot of tennis cricket and would be aware of the game.

As per Karen “I heard a lot about it but I never played it,” Karen further said that she informed Rohit Sharma that they were the two best captains and that she had a successful term as captain of the ladies wind ball cricket team Rebirth. “I see him as a very good leader and the records speak for itself. The IPL, the Mumbai Indians and the Indian National Team. So, Rohit Sharma is a top-of-the-line captain,” Karen said.
West Indies were disciplined and Indian bowlers found it difficult to pick wickets. The West Indians managed to get off to a positive start on Day 3 just as they did on Day 2 with the bat, with their captain Kraigg Braithwaite scoring 75 runs off 235 balls along with Kirk McKenzie for 32 runs off 57 balls. Ravichandran Ashwin bowled the Windies skipper with an unplayable delivery, going through the gate after a sharp spin. Jermaine Blackwood scored 20 runs off 92 balls and was dismissed by Jadeja following a superb catch in the slip by Ajinkya Rahane shortly after tea.
The Day 4 start will start early 30 minutes before. Also bad light forced umpires to not make full use of the extended time that was available to complete the overs. India will need quick wickets to force off for a win.
