Scott Edwards talked about Netherlands beating South Africa in the post match ceremony and said, “Extremely proud. We came in with high expectations. We had very good players. Happy to get the first win out of the way. Hopefully, few more wins. We do a fair bit of research. We come up with a few matchups. Some days it works and some days it doesn’t. We were in decent positions in the first few games but then fell away. I am sure there will be plenty of fans staying up and watching this. Extremely happy with the win.”

“Every team wants to reach the semis and if you don’t aim that, you should not be here. I think the boys are excited to do well and hope to keep up the momentum that we gained against South Africa. Every game is important and we are looking forward to it. We have no changes to our side. Playing with the same side,” said Scott Edwards during the toss against Sri Lanka.
