It is often a case for non-professional cricketers that they stop playing the game after marriage. After all, they play the game as a leisure activity. Also, not to forget, marriage also brings responsibilities alongside the bundle of joys. However, in a rare incident that happened in Tamil Nadu, a bride had allowed her husband to play the game on weekends. The groom plays for SuperStar Cricket Team.

In a contract that is going viral, it states that Pooja, the bride has allowed her husband to continue playing the game. Hariprasad, the groom is the captain of SuperStar cricket team. His teammates were afraid that their captain will not be able to practice cricket once he is married. Now, it seems that they can breathe a sigh of relief.

“I, Pooja, hereby allow Hariprasad to play cricket on Saturday and Sunday for the SuperStar Cricket team,” read the contract.

The whole scenario made the guests laugh. This incident has been going viral on social media. The netizens haven’t been able to keep calm after the incident surfaced on the internet. Meanwhile, another rare was witnessed in the European Cricket Series (ECS) T10 recently. In a video that went viral on social media, Sharanya Sadarangani kept wickets for her husband, Finn Sadarangani.

This incident happened in the semifinal game of the Kummerfeld leg between PSV Hann Munden and KSV Cricket. Notably, Sharanya has played all six matches in the T10 tournament. Also, she has been receiving immense praise for her keeping skills. With this, Sharanya became the first woman to play the tournament as the Women’s version of the tournament is yet to be launched.

Talking about the game, KSV Cricket beat PSV Hann Munden by five wickets to seal a spot in the title clash. During the match, Sharanya also took two catches and also affected a runout. Chasing 88 in 10 overs, KSV Cricket chased down the target with five wickets and 11 balls in hand.
