‘Ab gyan baatne se kya hoga’ – Fans react as Virat Kohli posts cryptic Instagram story after losing WTC Final 2023 against Australia
Star India batter, Virat Kohli posted a cryptic Instagram story once again after losing the World Test Championship (WTC) final against Australia on Sunday, June 11 at The Oval, in London. In the final, Virat Kohli scored 14 runs in the first innings and scored 49 runs in the second. He was the highest scorer for the team in the second innings before getting dismissed to Scott Boland.
After losing the final to Australia, Kohli posted a cryptic Instagram story where he stated ‘Silence is the source of great strength’. This is not the first time that the 34-year-old has posted something cryptic on social media. Earlier, during the final, he was trolled by the fans when he was seen chatting and having snacks after his dismissal in the first innings.

Kohli took it to Instagram and replied to the critics ahead of the start of the play on Day 3 where he was targeted. He asserted that one should develop the ability to be disliked in order to feel free themselves.”You must develop the ability to be disliked in order to free yourself from the prison of other people’s opinions,” the full message read.
India lost the final by 209 runs, their second consecutive loss in this edition of the WTC cycle. The Indian side was behind in the game from the first day, after the two Australians, Travis Head and Steve Smith. India got a target of 444 to chase down in order to lift the WTC mace but the side was able to score only 234 runs and lost the final to Australia.
After winning the final, Australia became the first side to clinch all the major tournaments which exist in cricket. Star Australian batter, Head was awarded the Player of the Match award for his brilliant match-winning performance, which came in the first innings of the where he scored 163 runs off just 174 balls which included 25 fours and a six in his innings.
