Abu Dhabi T10 League 2021: Where to watch, Squads, match details and all you need to know

The fifth season of the Abu Dhabi T10 league will get underway from Friday (November 19). The 10 overs format is organised by Emirates Cricket Board (ECB). The T10 league is also the only 10-over event sponsored by International Cricket Council (ICC). This season promises to be a fascinating affair with the addition of new teams and players. Few seasoned players like Faf du Plessis and Yusuf Pathan will make their debut this season. Also, Chennai Braves will be a new team in the six-team tournament.

It is also one of the leagues that bridge the gap between associate nations and Test-playing nations. Over the past four seasons, the league has witnessed players from smaller countries rub shoulders with the likes Chris Gayle, Jason Roy, Andre Russell, Shahid Afridi, Nicholas Pooran, Eoin Morgan, Imran Tahir, and Dwayne Bravo.

The giants of the game will no doubt pass on the knowledge to the newcomers like Luke Wood, Hazratullah Zazai, Wanindu Hasaranga, and Curtis Campher. Hasarnaga and Camper were brilliant for Sri Lanka and Ireland respectively in the recently concluded 20-20 World Cup. The duo will be eager to continue their good work in T10 League as well.
Northern Warriors have dominated the T10 league. They are also the defending champions and two-time winners. Warriors will get their campaign underway by facing off Delhi Bulls on Friday (November 19).

The tournament will be played in a round-robin format. The matches will be played across 16 days. It will see two Qualifiers and Eliminators on December 3. The grand final will be played on December 4.
