All you need to know about MS Dhoni’s wife Sakshi Singh Rawat

Sakshi Singh Rawat was a working woman before getting married to former India skipper, MS Dhoni. She was working as a hotel management intern at the Taj Bengal hotel in Kolkata where the Men in Blue were staying ahead of their fixture in December 2007. They met for the first time here and their connection has only grown stronger since.

Dhoni and Sakshi got married secretly back in 2010 in Dehradun. Only the family members and the near and dear ones were present at their wedding. They have a daughter, whose name is Ziva. After Dhoni’s retirement, the full family spends time together at Dhoni’s farmhouse in Ranchi.

Sakshi has shifted her profession as she has now become a full-time producer. The Chennai Super Kings skipper recently launched his own film production company – ‘Dhoni Entertainment Pvt Ltd’. A few days back, his company released the first movie. The name of the movie is  ‘Let’s Get Married’ (LGM)’. The movie is in Tamil and is released only in South India for now. According to their official website, Sakshi is the ‘managing director’ of Dhoni’s film production company.

Sakshi was born on November 19, 1988, in Guwahati, Assam. She completed her schooling from the Jawahar Vidya Mandir in Ranchi. After school, she pursued a degree in Hotel Management from the Institute of Hotel Management in Aurangabad. According to reports, she has a net worth of around Rs 50 crore, whereas Dhoni’s net worth is of Rs 1,050 crore.
