Al Nassr’s run as champion was ended when Al Ittihad won the Saudi Pro League title with a 3-0 victory against Al Feiha. Cristiano Ronaldo’s first Saudi Arabian season ended in disappointment as they were held to a 1-1 draw at Ettifaq.

In the end, Cristiano Ronaldo’s Al Nassr club lost to Al Ittihad in the Saudi Pro League championship game, therefore his first season in Saudi Arabia would come to an end without a title. Al Nassr and Al Ettifaq were kept to a 1-1 draw as Talisca’s injury-time goal was deflected against the goalpost and Luiz Gustavo’s late goal was reversed by VAR.

Ronaldo gave a poor effort in Dammam and was taken off in the second half as Al-Nassr and Al-Ettifaq were held to a 1-1 tie. Youssoufou Niakate gave Al-Ettifaq the lead two minutes before halftime, and Al-Nassr tied the score in the 56th minute with a goal by the Brazilian Luiz Gustavo. Ronaldo, who joined the team in January, will finish his first campaign in the country without a single victory.

Al Ittihad ultimately defeated Al Feiha 3-0, rendering their performance worthless despite a late comeback by Al Nassr. Al Nassr will host Al Fateh the following weekend to wrap off their domestic campaign before the start of the Arab Club Championships in July.

Since his two-goal performance against PSG in his debut appearance in Saudi Arabia for a Saudi Pro League all-star team, which was composed of players from the Saudi Pro League, he has been scoring goals in league play. He has 14 goals in 18 official outings for Al Nassr in all competitions.

He converted his first penalty kick goal on February 3 against Al Fateh. He scored four goals in a matter of seconds against Al Wehda on February 9 and three straight goals against Damac on February 25.
