‘Bhai ye sb kya kar raha hai tu’ – Fans react as Shubman Gill posts a semi-nude picture of himself on social media

In the final league game of the Indian Premier League 2023, Gujarat Titans beat Royal Challengers Bangalore by six wickets. Star batter Shubman Gill came up with a massive hundred to knock RCB out of the ongoing tournament. The right-hander in his innings scored 104 runs off 52 balls with the help of five boundaries and eight maximums.
However, after single-handedly winning the game for GT, Gill posted a picture of himself which left fans in splits. In his recent picture, He can be seen taking a mirror selfie in the towel. The opening batter captioned that pic with a ‘thrust trap’. Notably, his picture is similar to one of Virat Kohli’s which he uploaded a few years back. And it was enough for fans to notice and make a buzz around it.
However, speaking about the game, while chasing 198 runs Gill single-handedly took defending champions to victory. He along with Vijay Shankar added 123 runs for the second wicket. Shankar in his innings scored 53 runs off 35 balls with the help of seven boundaries and two sixes.
Shubman Gill became the third Indian to score consecutive tons
In the end, Gill completed his second consecutive century in the history of the tournament. With this century Gill became only the third Indian to score two consecutive centuries in the Indian Premier League. Earlier, Virat Kohli and Shikhar Dhawan have achieved this feat.
Meanwhile, after losing the game RCB skipper Faf du Plessis said, “I am so disappointed that our season ends there. If we take a hard look at ourselves, we’ll be honest in saying that we weren’t one of the best teams in the competition,” said Faf. “We were lucky that there were some really good performances throughout the season but, as a whole (and) as a team, we probably don’t deserve to be in the semifinal, if you look at the period of 15-14 games,” he further added.
