Sachin Tendulkar is one of the greatest cricketers across different eras of the game. He is the all-time highest run-getter in Tests and ODI and is set to stay at the top for a long time. In the longest format of the game, the right-hander has 15921 runs to his name. In ODIs, the 2011 World Cup winner has 18426 runs to his name.

Meanwhile, the Mumbaikar got involved in a hilarious conversation with former India cricket teammates. It all started when the likes of Aakash Chopra and RP Singh were commentating during the reverse fixture between Joburg Super Kings and Pretoria Capitals in the ongoing SA20. During the game, Capitals’ Phil Salt played a straight drive off Super Kings’ Alzarri Joseph. However, the ball hit the latter’s ankle and went to hit the stumps.

As a result, Thenius de Bruyn was run-out at the non-striking end. After the dismissal, Chopra said “It is a run out at the non-striker’s end for sure but I have a question for you. Where is the skill in this? The ball just hit the his (bowler’s) leg and then went to the stumps. Have you ever done something like this?” said Chopra.

In reply, RP Singh said “I have never been able to run out someone after the ball hit a part of my body while bowling but then I did hit a straight drive once while batting and the player at the non-striker’s end was run out because of that,” Singh replied.
